Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll receive a friendly welcome and be transferred to the beautiful Africa Amini Maasai Lodge. The rest of the day is yours to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings as you acclimate to Tanzania. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay at this eco-conscious lodge, where your half-board accommodation directly supports local Maasai communities.

Day 2: Immersive Maasai Cultural Experience

After breakfast, spend the day engaging with authentic Maasai culture. Join in traditional dances and songs that celebrate the community’s spirit and heritage. As the sun sets, enjoy a classic sundowner followed by storytelling around the campfire—an essential Maasai tradition. You’ll also learn traditional spear-throwing techniques from Maasai warriors and take a guided nature walk to explore medicinal plants used in Maasai healing practices. All meals and overnight stay are at Africa Amini Maasai Lodge, offering comfort blended with cultural authenticity.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park Safari

Following breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives, with opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and diverse birdlife. In the late afternoon, travel to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Trees Inn, accommodated in a comfortable standard room on a full-board basis.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Adventure

After breakfast, journey to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. Descend into the crater floor for an extensive game drive, encountering the Big Five and many other species within this unique ecosystem. Later, return to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour & Departure

Begin your day with a guided cultural visit to Mto wa Mbu village, where you’ll discover local farming practices, vibrant artwork, and enjoy tastings of traditional Tanzanian cuisine. After the tour, head back to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport, bringing your unforgettable safari and cultural experience in Tanzania to a close.
