Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure starts with a morning pickup from Arusha, followed by a picturesque drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant populations, Tarangire offers an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through open savannahs and acacia woodlands, spotting animals such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birdlife. After a picnic lunch, continue exploring along the Tarangire River, where wildlife gathers throughout the year. In the evening, proceed to a nearby public campsite for dinner and an overnight stay beneath the African sky.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route before arriving in the central Serengeti in the afternoon. As you enter the vast plains, embark on your first Serengeti game drive, home to predators such as lions and cheetahs, along with countless plains game. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Campsite, located in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day discovering the endless plains of the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This iconic park hosts a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, and abundant bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush to make the most of your time on safari. Your experienced guide will share insights into animal behavior and tracking. For a truly unforgettable experience, an optional early morning hot air balloon safari is available at an additional cost. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Following an early breakfast, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive as you journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged along the way to experience local culture and traditions. Arrive at Simba Campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the late afternoon, where breathtaking views of the crater floor await. Spend the evening relaxing in the cool highland environment.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara Area

Begin the day early with breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This natural wonder supports an incredible diversity of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and large hippo populations, making it one of the best locations to spot the Big Five. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend back to the rim and continue to the Lake Manyara area. Dinner and overnight will be at a nearby public campsite.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

On your final day, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its lush groundwater forest, scenic lake views, flamingos, and famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also home to large troops of baboons, hippos, and elephants. After the game drive, return to Arusha in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari. Optional airport transfers or Zanzibar extensions can be arranged upon request.
