Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to Rivertrees – Garden Cottage. Relax after your journey, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for a peaceful overnight stay—an ideal beginning to your Tanzanian adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy an exciting full-day game drive, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. In the evening, head to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Optional Activity: Take part in a night game drive to experience Tarangire’s fascinating nocturnal wildlife.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Following breakfast, continue your journey through the scenic landscapes of Lake Manyara en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, check in at Lions Paw Camp, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature with full-board accommodation.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Spend the day exploring this natural wonder, home to the legendary Big Five and diverse ecosystems. Later, return to Lions Paw Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Experience & Return to Arusha

Begin the day with a guided cultural visit to Mto wa Mbu village, where you’ll experience local life, traditional farming practices, handmade crafts, and authentic Tanzanian cuisine. After lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge, proceed to Rivertrees Country Inn for a relaxed evening and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey, bringing your unforgettable Tanzania Family Safari to a close.
