The Kori Way

Tanzania, Personally Experienced.

Kori Safari & Climbing Tours was founded with one simple goal: to connect travellers with the raw, unspoiled beauty of Tanzania.

We are a team of certified guides, local experts and adventure enthusiasts based in Arusha. We don't sell trips from a brochure — we design each journey around the people taking it, then guide it ourselves, from the airport to the summit or the last game drive.

  • Itineraries built around your interests, pace and budget
  • Guides with first-hand knowledge of every park we visit
  • Safety, comfort and certified equipment on every trip
  • Travel that supports the communities we pass through

The difference

Why Travel With Kori?

Six things we hold ourselves to on every journey.

01

Local expertise

We live where you're travelling. Our guides know the parks, the seasons and the quiet corners that don't appear on maps.

02

Tailor-made journeys

No two itineraries are alike — like the spots on a leopard's coat. We build yours around your interests, pace and budget.

03

Safety & comfort

Experienced guides, well-maintained 4×4 vehicles and certified mountain equipment. On Kilimanjaro, twice-daily health checks.

04

Personal service

One point of contact from your first message to your flight home, reachable on WhatsApp throughout your trip.

05

Responsible tourism

Travel that supports local communities and respects the wild places that make Tanzania what it is.

06

Seamless planning

Airport transfers, park fees, permits and camps arranged for you. You bring the curiosity; we handle the logistics.

How it works

From First Idea to First Game Drive

01

Tell us your dream

Use the planner or WhatsApp us. Where, when, who's coming, and what a perfect day looks like to you.

02

We design your safari

You receive a proposed itinerary with camps, routes and timing that make sense for the season.

03

Refine the details

Swap a lodge, add a balloon flight, slow the pace. We adjust until it feels exactly right.

04

Travel with confidence

Your guide meets you at the airport. From there, everything is taken care of.

Responsible travel

Travel With Purpose

Sustainable travel that supports local communities is part of how Kori was founded, not an add-on. Here is what that means in practice.

Conservation

Park fees on every itinerary fund the protection of Tanzania's wildlife and wilderness. We follow park rules on distance, noise and off-road driving.

Community

Cultural visits are arranged with the communities themselves, on their terms, so the benefit stays where the welcome comes from.

Local employment

Our guides, drivers, cooks and porters are Tanzanian. Fair treatment of mountain crews is a condition of every climb we run.

Environment

Refillable water in the vehicle, waste carried out of the parks and mountain, and camps chosen with their footprint in mind.
