Booking and deposit
A booking is confirmed when we receive your written acceptance of the itinerary and the deposit stated on your invoice. The balance is due by the date shown on the invoice, normally before travel. Payment details and deposit amounts are provided with each quotation.
Prices
Quotations are in US dollars unless stated otherwise and are valid for the period shown. Park fees and government taxes are set by the Tanzanian authorities; if they change between quotation and travel, the difference may be passed on.
Changes and cancellations
We will always try to accommodate changes. Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure we receive written notice and on the supplier terms that apply to your lodges, flights and permits; these will be set out on your invoice. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical treatment and evacuation.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations and travel insurance, for arriving on time for transfers and flights, and for following the instructions of your guide, park rangers and mountain crew, whose decisions on safety are final.
Our responsibilities
We will provide the services described in your confirmed itinerary with reasonable skill and care. Where circumstances beyond our control — weather, road or park closures, wildlife movements, strikes, illness — require changes, we will offer a suitable alternative of equivalent standard.
Liability
Safaris and mountain climbs involve inherent risks. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by Tanzanian law; we are not liable for loss or injury arising from circumstances beyond our control or from your failure to follow instructions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
